Mimes is a Norwegian technology company specialising in safety, instrumentation and industrial wireless solutions.

The company was founded in response to the growing adoption of industrial IoT and the need for more complete, flexible safety solutions. Mimes brought together expertise in hazardous-area protection, SIL, hardware and software development, technical safety and instrumentation to address gaps that were not being met by traditional technologies.

Today, Mimes develops both wired and wireless solutions designed to make industrial safety systems more connected, flexible and cost-effective, with particular expertise in technologies such as ISA100, WirelessHART and LoRa.
