Exloc Instruments are proud to be able to introduce the D5212Q intrinsically safe repeater created by GM International to enable simple and cost effective means of implementing intrinsic safety into hazardous area applications.

A great choice for those applications that need to control a large number of analog signals, allowing reduction per channel cost as compared to a single or double channel barrier.

In addition, it can be configured and controlled via MODBUS RTU protocol. It provides a fully floating DC supply for energizing conventional 2-wire 4-20 mA transmitters located in Hazardous Area repeating the signal in Safe Area for applications requiring SIL2 (according to IEC 61511).

The module is fully configurable with inputs range of 0/4.. 20mA and 4 I.S. channels to power and interface 2-wire loop powered transmitters. Any desired input/output combination can be configured. An alarm output with user-settable trip point is also provided.

GM International mod. D5212Q is totally software configurable (no jumpers or switches) by PC via USB with PPC5092 adapter and related configurator software, or by RS485 Modbus output.

Mounting on standard DIN-Rail, with or without Power Bus, or on customized DCS manufacturers Termination Boards, in Safe Area / Non-Hazardous Location or in Zone 2 / Class I, Division 2 or Class I, Zone 2.
