The Sensear SM1B-Ex is an industrial-grade communication headset designed for hazardous environments, such as oil and gas, mining, and chemical processing industries. Built to meet intrinsically safe (IS) standards, this headset is certified for use in explosive atmospheres where traditional electronics pose a safety risk.
It combines high-noise communication with hearing protection through its advanced SENS® Technology, which allows users to hear speech and critical environmental sounds while simultaneously suppressing harmful background noise. This ensures situational awareness without compromising worker safety.
The SM1B-Ex provides dual functionality: protecting workers’ hearing while enabling seamless communication, boosting productivity and safety. With its long battery life and durable construction, it’s ideal for teams working in high-risk, high-noise zones where clear communication is critical.
