The R. STAHL Series 9740 Ethernet-APL Field Switch for Zone 2 provides a practical route to digital field networking in hazardous areas where Zone 2 equipment installation is permitted. It allows Ethernet-APL field devices to be connected safely to higher-level Ethernet infrastructure while supplying intrinsically safe power to connected instruments.
