IS-TH2ER.1

The IS-TH2ER.1 is an ATEX Zone 1/21 certified extended-range barcode scanner, designed for hazardous environments where safety and efficiency are critical. Equipped with the Zebra SE55 scan engine, it enables scanning up to 12 meters away, ensuring rapid and accurate barcode reading even in challenging industrial conditions.

With a sensor resolution of 2688 x 1520 pixels, the IS-TH2ER.1 supports a wide range of barcode types, including Code 39, DataMatrix, UPC, and PDF417, making it ideal for oil & gas, chemical plants, and manufacturing. The integrated green laser aimer (520 nm) and dual warm-white LED illumination ensure high-visibility targeting in low-light environments.

This intrinsically safe scanner is built for rugged performance, featuring IP68-rated dust and water resistance, compliance with MIL-STD-810H, and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C. Its durable ergonomic design ensures comfortable use during extended shifts.

Power is supplied through the IS540.1 smartphone, which also handles communication via its multi-functional ISM interface. The scanner can be charged via a desktop charger (IS-DCTH1.1 required). With LED, vibration, and loudspeaker indications, users receive clear feedback on scanning operations, ensuring seamless workflows in demanding hazardous areas.
