iRFID500
The Extronics iRFID500 is an intrinsically safe handheld Bluetooth UHF RFID passive tag reader, designed for use in hazardous areas and 
harsh environments such as offshore, marine, chemical, and industrial environments. The iRFID500 is certified for use in ATEX and IECEx Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22.
Personalisation
- Companion software for Android & Apple OS is available
- Enables personalisation of the iRFID500, such as altering read ranges to distinguish tags that are close together
Dual mode operation
Greater flexibility of usage:
- Link directly with smart devices, such as the Extronics Rough Pro, using Bluetooth capability
- Or, use as a standalone device with the large internal memory storing the tag reads

ATEX Zone 1 / 21 certified 34 mm TEC PU NFC TAG
The ATEX Zone 1 / 21 certified 34 mm TEC PU NFC TAG can be permanently affixed at the object which has to be identified by using the centre mounting hole by means of screw or rivet. As well the mounting hole provides the possibility to use a cable tie or metal steel wire to mount the tag on valves or machine equipment in rugged hazardous area environment. The industrial NFC TAG can be read or programmed by NFC enabled phones, smartphones or rugged industrial ISO14443 compatible PDAs or tablet PCs.
